I probably modeled about fifty individual shapes, then mirrored them to get the other side and whole shapes. The final facial rig probably has around 100 to 120 shapes linked up.
Came out really cool greg :) As I told you before i would make the explosion part bigger. But overall such a fun animation. I love the way you put all the details in the burned texture, like the place his hand was and the soldiers. Nice touch, very nice. Its really cool to see all the different stages of it, from concept class with the animatic to the final render. I'm glad you changed the ending, this is much funnier.
Couldn't see the vid, but judging by the poses and modelin the screen shots, must be incredible. I like the way you handled the backgrounds. Seems to fit with your character. Great stuff .
Hey dude I am a senior at Sarasota High and I am going to Ringling next year for computer animation . Your models( which are mind blowing ) and your animations are very inspiring and I am getting so excited to go to Ringling next year. I was hoping that you could give me some comments and crits on my animatons and models that I have done. They can be found on my blog listed below. Also check out more of my work under the older posts.

AWESOME!!!!
Couldn't see it move. The server said I didn't have permission.
Excellent work, Greg. But I think the character looks more like your dad than a self portrait!
