Check out this amazing painting by Robert Mackenzie.
A victorian-style portrait of a wookie with a monacle? I mean, come on...that's just made of win. I liked Robert's painting so much that I had to make my own version to frame and put on my wall.
And I would be remiss if I didn't tell you to check out Robert's awesome blog. Lots more super fine work of an inspiring nature over there!

Haha! Great stuff, Greg!
Nice work, Greg! The original was done by friend and fellow coworker Bob Mackenzie. Here's his original post: http://robert-mackenzie.blogspot.com/2007/01/blue-sky-challenge.html
Thanks Jake! Glad I can now credit the right guy for his great piece. And on a side note, huge fan of your work. That Jack-o-lantern painting you did a while back was the influence for the look of this one...don't tell me you didn't notice!
Haha, I didn't even notice. But now that you mention it, it's a nice homage. You've got some great work on here. I'm glad I found your blog.
Very thoughtful and almost disapproving looking. Perfect for the period look of the portrait.
Be Well.
Love it!
It's "monOcle" by the way, not monAcle. ;)
I love it!!
I would seriously love a print of this! So awesome!
I agree! I wish I could have this on my wall, as well.
this is some amazing stuff.. i'd be interested in buying prints of your star wars characters.. any chance of that happening?

Fantastic Greg!
My husband is going to FLIP. You are very talented! Love the take on "Dapper" Chewy :) Fantastic.
Hey Greg,
Love the work. I understand the intrigue of them being not available. But i would like to know if at any point you would be selling prints of any of the three.
Would like to give 1 or 2 as a gift to my brother (an avid star wars fan) for christmas 2010. Let me know if they will be available by Mid December 2010. Thank you.
